Caroline Evans

 Caroline Evans got her first oil paints at the age of ten and has maintained a love of the medium throughout her life. Academic degrees in Geography and Ecology inspire her to investigate the relationship we all have with this planet and to create figurative landscapes with colour and texture , drawing on memories of the many places she has lived and the variations in the natural beauty  of each one. Recently she has begun experimenting with Batik, a different medium which she uses to create entirely from within. She is a member of Manotick Arts and Rideau Lakes Artist associations, and has taught and sold in Europe, North America and beyond.  She lives just outside Perth, Ontario.
