Ursula Faller
An artist since childhood, I have continuously completed projects in numerous mediums and crafts; pen and ink drawings, pencil and charcoal sketching, sewing, weaving fabric, painting in acrylic and oil to name a few.
After completing a Fine Arts Certificate (with High Honours) in 2012, I continued artistic studies for a futher 3 years at Paul Richard James Fine Arts Atelier in Hamilton, ON learning traditional old master oil painting techniques. Inspired by these techniques I have developed a technique which combines traditional techniques with contemporary realism.
Since retiring from a professional career to become a full time artist I have exhibited works in art shows, galleries (Waterloo, ON) and have taught several oil workshops and classes. Having move to Perth ON in the summer of 2019, I enjoyed getting to know the considerable and varied artistic environment in Perth and surrounding areas. Covid and health issues have prevented my participation in art shows in the past few years.
